Route to the Holy Tree
It starts with a long, difficult ascent from Frontera and is famous for the climb to Jinama along an old livestock route up as far as Jinama viewpoint. All along the way, up a green slope along the edge of the cliff, we see spectacular views of the valley until we come to the sea.
Once we reach Jinama viewpoint, the route runs between open fields and occasional earth paths that are easy to run along, crossing pine forests to the Holy Tree of Garoé. A slight descent will take us to the end of our journey in Valverde.
